LaserVue is sad to announce the closing of our Sacramento branch. However, we welcome Sacramento residents to our state-of-the-art cataract center in Santa Rosa.
We’re opening this location in Sacramento to bring affordable advanced all-laser LASIK and laser cataract surgery to more people than ever before.
Jay Bansal, MD, founded LaserVue in 1996 with the goal of bringing the most advanced technologies and techniques to his patients. His personal approach to visual health allows him to identify the best approach and obtain the best results for his patients.
Dr. Bansal has been practicing ophthalmology for over 20 years now, bringing personalized care to thousands and thousands of people in the Bay Area and performing over 25,000 eye surgery procedures. He was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1994 and, ever since, he’s been working hard to stay on the cutting edge of laser vision correction.
Since beginning his career in refractive surgery, Dr. Bansal has become an expert in the field. He is certified by the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance, recognized as a VISX Star Surgeon, and has been named one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” by Consumer’s Research Council.
Dr. Bansal is also a certified trainer to other surgeons for both VISX Star and IntraLase Femtosecond laser systems, some of the most advanced systems available. He was one of the first few surgeons to perform LASIK in California. He was also the first eye surgeon in Northern California to perform procedures using the Wavelight Allegretto excimer laser.
Today, Dr. Bansal uses the Zeiss VisuMax system at LaserVue. LaserVue is the only Northern California surgery center to offer the VisuMax. VisuMax is an advanced system that allows for better control and performance for the doctor, better comfort and safety for the patient, and better results overall.
