Jay Bansal, MD is a nationally recognized Refractive Surgery specialist and Medical Director of LaserVue Eye Center. Dr. Bansal is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is acclaimed as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” by Consumers’ Research Council and a VISX Star Surgeon.

Dr. Bansal has also contributed as a leader in his field by developing a widely used LASIK surgical nomogram and surgical instruments. Dr. Bansal has served as a principal investigator in trials for the VISX™ Star Excimer Laser System.
He is also a certified trainer to other surgeons for both the Intralase® and ZEISS VisuMax® femtosecond lasers along with the VISX™ excimer laser.
