Dr. Tiffany Chuang, OD began her journey in the optometric field while earning her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She continued to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry graduating with recognition from Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. She completed her rotations in various VA and military hospitals throughout the US from the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California to Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.
In addition to her rotations, she completed an additional residency for primary care and ocular disease at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Oklahoma.
In the Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Dr. Chuang gained valuable experience with diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide variety of diseases including dry eye disease and co-managing cataract surgeries. She has also received special optometric training in laser therapy and surgical procedures for Optometric Physicians.
Furthermore, Dr. Chuang has had several internships in refractive surgery centers guiding patients through the consultation, refractive surgery and post-surgery process for LASIK and PRK.
