Fad workouts come and go, but some exercise routines stand the test of time. Whether you’re a true yogi, or just a “yogi,” yoga is a great way to build strength, increase flexibility and ease stress.

That is, if you don’t have glasses wrecking your (vinyasa) flow.

Before you squeeze into those yoga pants and unroll your mat, beware of these 5 poses if you wear glasses.

Yoga Pose with Glasses

1. Downward Facing Dog

This pose is normally considered pretty basic, but you can ramp up the difficulty by adding a pair of glasses sliding off with increasing ease as you start to sweat. Good thing you only assume this position like a hundred times during a yoga session.

2. Child’s Pose

Hey, everyone needs a break sometimes. You try to hide the pain (they can’t really expect you to do that many Chaturangas, can they?) and head to Child’s Pose. But you realize it’s not so relaxing with the frames of your glasses pressing hard into the bridge of your nose.

3. Crow

LOL. Yeah, right.

4. Warrior 3

It’s hard enough to balance your body in this pose, let alone balance your glasses on the bridge of your now slick nose. You’re all “Namaste,” but your glasses are like “nah, I’ma go.”

5. Wheel

Getting in and out of the Wheel, or Upward Bow, pose can be scary. Even scarier is trying to come down without crushing your glasses after they fall off your face on the way up.
