Dr. Stephanie C. Wangyu is a Resident Physician in Ophthalmology with an MD from New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine. She brings experience from previous roles at NYU Langone Medical Center, Stanford School of Medicine, and University of Colorado Department of Ophthalmology.
At LaserVue Eye Center, Dr. Wangyu specializes in refractive eye surgery as well as glaucoma management, macular degeneration, and the treatment and management of a variety of vision-related conditions.
Dr. Wangyu has a deep commitment to research and innovation in the field of vision care. She has a rich background in research and specialist consulting on topics of Artificial Medical Intelligence (AI), innovation in ophthalmology, and applications of new diagnostic tools. As the former Co-President of the NYUSOM American Medical Women’s Association and Business and Economics in Medicine Association, Dr. Wangyu has established herself as an advocate as well as an expert: Dr. Wangyu is leading the charge towards better quality and accessibility in modern vision care.
Dr. Wangyu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
