LaserVue LASIK & Cataract Center

When selecting a LASIK surgeon, it is very important to select one that has at least 10,000 hours of experience.

To some, that may seem excessive, but it really isn’t. If you devote 10,000 hours to your job, your hobby, or your passion, chances are good that you are very good at what you do. That is why doctors “practice”, for practice makes perfect.

Why is the number of procedures a big deal? Well, think of it this way. Many LASIK and cataract surgeries are performed by ophthalmologists that only do the surgeries on a part time basis. For example, they may have attended a weekend or weeklong seminar, and earned the certificate to begin performing these delicate surgeries with lasers and high tech equipment. The question is, how good are they after their first surgery? After their 10th surgery? After their 10,000th surgery? If the surgeon practices more frequently, the techniques get better and better, and the results improve, too.

With that said, the LaserVue team has performed a large number of procedures. Dr. Bansal, our founder, has performed over 20,000 microsurgical ocular procedures alone! Because we take the LASIK and cataract surgery practice very seriously, the LaserVue team is dedicated to offering the most experienced medical staff, with excellent medical practices, practicing on a daily — not part time — basis.

Wouldn’t you feel more comfortable having cataract or LASIK procedures performed by a team that really knows what its doing and has the experience to back it up?
