LaserVue Eye Center uses a wavefront aberrometer to measure the internal aberrations of the eye. This technology is the first step in performing a “customized” wavefront LASIK treatment. During this measurement, the medical device will measure Higher-Order Aberrations (HOAs) in the eye, such as coma, trefoil, and spherical aberration. These HOAs are not correctable with glasses or contact lenses due to movement or changing directions of gaze. LASIK, however, is capable of treating higher-order aberrations by changing the laser pattern to adjust to the measurements.
LaserVue offers the highest level of LASIK technology and can offer customized treatment for the specific needs of your eyes. Residents trust Dr. Bansal’s experience and excellent treatment record and have voted LaserVue to be the Best of Laser Vision Correction.
